Art is vital to a healthy society; it addresses our psychological, spiritual and emotional needs which are of equal (or perhaps more at times) importance to our material needs.  Art communicates thoughts and ideas regarding our world, adds meaning and continuity to our lives and can often speak when words fail.  It is deep, meaningful and beautiful…a reflection of our lives, what matters to us and what we face as human beings.

In order to live a rich life of the arts, we must understand the importance of the collector in the eco-system.  Collectors keep artists making, creating and growing…and allow them to come to the center of society where their work can have impact on others and they can strive to pass their craft and the power of art on to future generations.

Art is both a financial investment and an investment in humanity.  The art itself can be lived with and connected with and can bring meaning and aesthetic value to one’s life, the artist can thrive, the richness of our culture and experience as humans will live on and the world will be more beautiful.
